Wow, only 128 MB of RAM .. What is really cheap. It is necessary to increase the RAM, and up to 512 at least. You will see your P3 go much faster. P3 can run a lot. 512 RAM, probably cost $ 30 now.
Try to install Windows 2000. Will work well.
When I ran XP on this machine - I throw out the window and cut my throat on the way down ....
